A romance-comedy in the tradition of Before
Sunrise. The films asks the
questions “Where do broken hearts go?” and tells the story of a woman,
struggling to meet airline baggage requirements, who meets a man who
comes to her aid. Both in despair out of love, they form a charming
friendship that will take them to Sagada in their attempts to mend each
other’s hearts.
A thought-provoking, likable, entertaining, beautiful, and
well-acted piece of romance. Anthony and Mace keep the tone not only afloat but
mesmerizing. So natural are their performances that it seems possible to
believe that they truly are soul mates. Very natural performance from Angelica
Panganiban and JM De Guzman same goes with the screenplay and dialogue of the
film that will really affect you and felt to your heart. This is one of only a
small number of films that can transport us back to the surprises, delights,
and enchantments of a first encounter. It's funny, sympathetic, mostly smart, and it boasts a
likable characters of two performers who have star power and know how to use
it. A charming and polished romantic comedy. And ofcourse what a film
ending with the song Tadhana it’s like a boom! overflowing love. I am also
expecting for the sequel of the film cause the ending its open ended. So if you
want to feel in love inside the cinemas better catch this film.
My Verdict: 4.5/5
