Movie Review: Kabisera

Andres discovers what he is capable of an how much he is willing to risk for the people he loves.

One man's transformation from a naive, innocent man to a ruthless father, friend and eventually, a drug dealer.

A well-made local indie action flick. .

Totality of the film ay maayos at malinis ang pagkakagawa. I’m betting them for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor for Art for this film festival. Watch out for the inuman scene this one is my favorite you will see the depth of emotion that Joel Torre reveals in that scene napakagaling.  For Art Acuňa naman is the attitude and angas na ipinakita ng character niya very natural lang parang sisiw lang sa kanya yung role kasi maski yung pagbigkas niya ng dialogue may attitude din. Bernard Palanca is also good here and the rest of the artists are well acted up to Bing Pimentel, Ketsup Eusebio, Carlo Cruz, Jomari Umpa and Meryl Soriano. Nakatulong din yung color grading ad musical scoring in some of the scenes to set the mood and the tone of the film.  Would also like to commend the director of the film Alfonso Torres III for the good direction and for this quality film that he made. This film is commendable to watch for that you should not miss this festival.

My Verdict:  4/5
