Everyone Knows Every Juan: A Star-Studded Cast, Hilarious Laughs, and Great Performances

At the recent mediacon for Everyone Knows Every Juan, all eyes were on Alessandra de Rossi — not just as an actress but also as the film’s director and producer. Cast members and attendees praised her creative mind (“ang likot ng utak sa pagdidirek”) and the dedication she poured into the project. Even during the press event, the camaraderie among the all-star cast was already evident — filled with laughs, banter, and warmth. It was clear that the chemistry built on set carried over offscreen.

The film itself is truly a dream project: a mix of seasoned veterans and acclaimed actors that make for a powerhouse ensemble. Alessandra gathered some of the country’s finest talents, creating a balance of heart, humor, and family drama that’s guaranteed to resonate with audiences.

Everyone Knows Every Juan is a drama-comedy that delves into the chaotic yet heartfelt love-hate dynamics of the Sevilla family.

The Sevilla Siblings — Tupe (Edu Manzano), Josie (Ruby Ruiz), Rose (Gina Alajar), Ramil (Ronnie Lazaro), Roel (Joel Torre), and Raquel (Alessandra de Rossi) — reunite at their ancestral home for the first death anniversary of their mother Juaning Sevilla (Liza Lorena).

Each sibling arrives with their own quirks and baggage: Tupe, the eldest, is a wealthy cosmetic surgeon; Josie, the dropout, can’t even afford tricycle fare; Rose is the sleek corporate leader; Ramil, the laid-back odd-jobber, shows up hungry and messy; Roel, once a promising musician, now wrestles with alcohol and regret; and Raquel, the youngest, is a brainy law graduate who sacrificed her own dreams to stay with their mother.

As different as they are, they share one thing in common: secrets. Tensions flare when Rose reveals she had their mother’s body exhumed for an autopsy — a revelation that threatens to rip the family further apart.

Adding more intrigue to the mix are Anna (Angeli Bayani), Juaning’s former caretaker; Jacob (Kelvin Miranda), the gardener with a surprising claim to the house; and Alfred (JM De Guzman), Raquel’s longtime partner.

Soon, secrets unravel, deep wounds resurface, and the Sevilla ancestral home begins to feel like it may collapse just like their fragile family ties.

At the mediacon, Alessandra and Kelvin Miranda gave fans a sneak peek behind the scenes, sharing how much fun and challenge went into making the movie. The laughter-filled gathering highlighted the natural chemistry of the cast — proof of the strong bond they formed during filming.

With veterans like Edu Manzano, Gina Alajar, Joel Torre, Ruby Ruiz, Ronnie Lazaro, and Liza Lorena, alongside the fresh energy of Alessandra, JM De Guzman, Angeli Bayani, and Kelvin Miranda, Everyone Knows Every Juan is as star-studded as it gets.

Mark your calendars: Everyone Knows Every Juan opens in cinemas nationwide on October 22. Expect a rollercoaster of hilarious laughs, heartfelt drama, and powerhouse performances from some of the best actors in Philippine cinema today.
