Singer-songwriter and multi-awarded hitmaker TJ Monterde has officially wrapped up the 40th show of his blockbuster “Sarili Nating Mundo” World Tour — a record-setting streak that continues to raise the bar for Filipino concerts worldwide.
What began as a historic 3-night sold-out concert at the Big Dome has now grown into a phenomenal global success. The tour proudly recorded 22 sold-out shows across 40 stages, including 6 two-day concert legs, making it one of the most remarkable runs in OPM concert history.
The production brought together some of the biggest names in the industry: Cornerstone Concerts, NTJ Entertainment Production, EKG Productions, Enigma Events & Production, Inc., Ad Gateway Inc., and CNCA — alongside global giants Live Nation and The Filipino Channel (TFC). At the helm was none other than acclaimed concert director John Prats, whose creative vision elevated the show to world-class status.
The concerts didn’t just deliver unforgettable music; they also became a stage for life-changing memories. Fans, lovingly called “Bituins,” chose Monterde’s shows as the backdrop for heartfelt marriage proposals and even an emotional gender reveal — most memorably during his duet of “Palagi” with wife and fellow OPM star KZ Tandingan.
But the journey isn’t over yet. Australia and New Zealand are about to witness the magic:
- October 5 – Melbourne, AUS
- October 11 – Auckland, NZ
- October 12 – Sydney, AUS
- October 17 – Perth, AUS
The world tour will officially take its final bow on December 2 at the 321 Sports Arena in Abu Dhabi — a fitting grand finale for one of the most celebrated OPM concert tours in recent years.
