The Philippine film scene is about to turn a new page with the launch of the CineSilip Film Festival 2025. Running from October 22 to 28, 2025, this groundbreaking festival is a collaboration between Viva’s film production arm and Ayala Malls Cinemas, designed to spotlight fearless new voices in local cinema.
A Festival for Bold Storytelling
CineSilip celebrates the artistry and boldness of the new generation of Filipino filmmakers. With stories that tackle desire, secrets, fantasy, and human struggles, the festival embraces both artistry and daring themes, giving creators the space to experiment, provoke, and ignite conversations.
The lineup features seven films spanning a wide range of genres:

Ang Lihim ni Maria Makinang (The Secret of Maria Makinang) – A mystical love story starring Gold Aceron and Mercedes Cabral, directed by Gian Arre.

Babae Sa Butas (The Woman in the Hole) – A provocative dramedy about lust, deception, and relationships, directed by Rhance Añonuevo-Cariño.

Dreamboi – A neon-lit erotic psychological drama by Rodina Singh, starring Tony Labrusca and EJ Jallorina.

Haplos Sa Hangin (A Sinful Touch) – Mikko Baldoza’s erotic horror starring Martin Del Rosario and Denise Esteban.
