Movie Review: Bingoleras

A comedy about six single women, whose lives intersect when a bingo marathon is launched in their church for the barangay fiesta, turning expectations and relationships upside down and inside out.

I am quite dissappointed to the film because I have hight expectation based on its theme, story and trailer. This is not what I am expecting for as a final product of the film. I am expecting for a much more witty screenplay and solid foundation of story. Hindi establish yung relationship nung 6 lead character parang bigla na lang silang naging close on first day. Then pinilit yung story ang daming mga pinilit na eksena, pati yung mga supposedly funny incident pilit na pilit. Maganda sana yung material and feel of the movie but it fails to deliver.

But still there are some scenes that I enjoy watching and truly laught out. The enjoyable segment to watch to is the Charee as Sister at Junjun as deaf and mute characters. Good thing about the film is the acting performance of the 6 lead characters. All of them are pro.Nagshine for me is Max Eigenmann and somehow yung story niya ang may pinaghuhugutan sa lahat. Mercedes is effective as well as astig na babae along with Hazel Orencio.
Lisa Diňo has certain depth in acting and Eula Valdez as well both justified their characters.

My Verdict:  2.5/5

Aiza Seguerra @ Gala Night of Bingoleras

Liza Dino @ Gala Night of Bingoleras
