Movie Review: Ang Turkey Man ay Pabo Rin

A cross-cultural comedy about a Filipino-American couple who celebrates life with karaoke music, superstitious in-laws, immigration laws, unexpected pregnancies, brown-outs, Thanksgiving turkey, with some love on the side.

Kuwento ng isang mag asawang Filipino- American na ipinagbubunyi ang kanilang buhay kasama ng karaoke, mga mapamahiing biyenan, imigrasyon, hindi inaasahang pagbubuntis, brownout, Thanksgiving turkey, paminsan-minsang pag-ibig.

 I enjoyed watching the film. Maganda yung story. Realization about the relationship of an American and a pinay and the people surround them. Madaming bagay na tinackle about sa pagiging pinoy natin especially yung mga nakakatuwang bagay. I like the treatment that was done in the film dahil naipresent ng maayos yung story at mensahe ng pelikula. Kahit ang lawak ng range na tinacle ng story yet buo pa rin yung storya at bumagay sa series of event sa 2 bida.

The treatment that was done was successful to deliver the message of the film and to show to story of 2 loving American and Pinay. This movie got a witty screenplay, story and script. Talagang matatawa ka at hindi pilit yung comedy ng film. Matatawa ka dahil totoo at nakakarelate ka sa sinasabi nila. Superb story and screenplay.

Ofcourse hindi magiging successful ang movie na ito kung hindi sa husay sa pagaganap at pagpapatawa ni Tuesday Vargas. Timing sa comedy at punchline, wala na ako masabi just watch this film. Napakahusay din ng mga supporting performers, Julia Clarete and Cai Cortez sobrang nakakatawa din up to Madeline Nicolas and Rolando Inocencio riot din yung character nila. JM De Guzman maayos din ang pagganap.  Travis Kraft the American was so funny as well in the film at nagbigay buhay din sa pelikulang ito. Napakahusay talaga ng nagsulat ng pelikulang ito, from the treatment up to how it was executed it is polished and effective to showcase and establish the story of the film.  May konting kurot din sa puso yung pelikula na dapat abangan.

If you want to laugh in every scene of the film, please watch this highly commendable quality comedy movie.
