Movie Review: Tinik

"If you are gay, this is your story. If you are a lover, this is your story." Tinik promises an impartial study of homosexuality through the story of a middle-aged gay couturier and his attempts to hold on to his dignity amidst the dilemmas of his being a gay.

Another gay movie in this festival but this one doesn’t reach the level of quality of Lihis. The story is about the typical middle aged man who falls in love to his boytoy.  Sinasabi ng pelikula ng ito na hindi importante ang kasarian sa 2 taong nagmamahalan. I was somehow affected in the movie even though there are some amateurish and lameness in the script of the film. Ricardo Cepeda is good in the film as well as Lemuel Pelayo that I know can act. Nasayang nga lang at hindi masyado maganda ang script ng film.

My Verdict:  2.5/5
