Movie Review: Jurassic World

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly.

This is the big-screen event of the summer in US, featuring some beautiful scenery, sweeping shots with real scope and some top-notch visual effects. Jurassic World is a real thrill ride in the tradition of the series. This is not a reboot, not even a soft one. This is set exactly where it's supposed to be, 20 years after the events we all came to love and the creators found just the right mixture of references and refreshing new ideas to make this all work.

I really enjoy this one heck of a ride adventure film. I really feel that I am inside the Jurassic World while watching this especially in IMAX. I can say that Jurassic World is the film that I enjoyed so much to watch this year so far and set high expectation to the summer movie line up of Hollywood this year. This may be the movie event of the 2015 in US summer season. I really got affected and involve in every scene of the film especially the suspense one and the climax.

Jurassic World is crowd-pleasing, thrilling, scary and suspenseful that is fueled by some dinosaur nostalgia. Pratt is adorable. He has truly grown on me. Howard is great as a character who is icy and difficult to warm up to, but should prove appealing by the end. This is highly enjoyable and heart pumping fun. So don't miss it.

My Verdict: 5/5
