Charo P. Cordial Shares the Story Behind Maddox Jewelry as Brand Unveils Its Biggest Fashion Show Yet

The members of the press recently got to know Charo P. Cordial, the CEO and founder of Maddox Jewelry, during a media gathering ahead of the MADDOX Jewelry Iconic Runway Fashion Show 2026.

Many may already recognize Charo from her viral social media videos, where numerous celebrities visit her showroom to purchase diamond jewelry and luxury pieces. But behind the success of Maddox Jewelry is an inspiring story of hard work, perseverance, and unexpected opportunities.

Originally from Albay, Charo is an agriculture engineer by profession. She shared that her journey into the jewelry business began during the pandemic through live selling. What started as a simple buy-and-sell venture eventually grew into a thriving business that she never imagined would become one of the country's most talked-about jewelry brands.

One of the first celebrities to purchase jewelry from her was veteran actress Yayo Aguila. Among all the stars she has worked with, Charo admitted that Claudine Barretto holds a special place in her heart. Having admired Claudine while watching Mula Sa Puso, she never expected that the actress she once looked up to on television would eventually become one of her valued clients and a close friend.

As more celebrities continued to support Maddox Jewelry, Charo wanted to give back in a meaningful way. This inspired her to mount the MADDOX Jewelry Iconic Runway Fashion Show 2026, a grand celebration that not only showcases her latest diamond collections but also expresses her gratitude to the artists who have supported her journey through the years.

Charo also hopes to change the misconception that diamonds are always expensive. She revealed that customers can already own a customized diamond jewelry piece starting at ₱7,000, making luxury more accessible to those who have always dreamed of owning genuine diamond jewelry.

Watch the interview below as we get to know Charo P. Cordial and the inspiring story behind Maddox Jewelry.
