Four-city Australian leg — Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Adelaide — opens the international run through September 5
The Pagdating ng Panahon 25th Anniversary World Tour kicks off in Australia on August 29, with Ice Seguerra bringing the song's silver anniversary celebration to four cities — Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Adelaide — running through September 5. The Australian leg follows Seguerra's homecoming performance in Manila on August 22, continuing a year that has already carried the song's anniversary from a newly recorded studio version to the concert stage.

Released in 2001, "Pagdating ng Panahon" is one of the defining ballads of its generation, later earning recognition including Song of the Year honors and heavy rotation across Philippine FM radio. In the years since, the song has become woven into the emotional soundtrack of Filipino life at home and abroad — carried by overseas Filipino communities into karaoke nights, family gatherings, weddings, and life's heartaches. In April, Seguerra reunited with original label Vicor Music Corporation to release a newly recorded 25th anniversary version of the track, reintroducing the song to a new generation while giving longtime listeners a chance to hear it again, changed by twenty-five years of living. The world tour extends that celebration to the stage, bringing the song's anniversary directly to the communities who have carried it for a quarter of a century.
The tour also arrives amid a global resurgence of nostalgia-driven live entertainment — from reunion tours to catalog revivals filling arenas across genres and generations, in the Philippines and well beyond it. But for "Pagdating ng Panahon," this isn't a revival because the song never left. Twenty-five years in and it continues to soundtrack weddings, homecomings, and everyday memory for Filipino audiences wherever they've made a home; the world tour simply gives that ongoing connection a stage.
"Recording 'Pagdating ng Panahon' 25 years ago was already special, but I never imagined how deeply it would become part of people's lives," Seguerra said of the song earlier this year. "The meaning of the song changes as you grow. Now, after everything life has taught me, the emotions feel deeper and more layered."

"We've all watched him grow up in front of us for almost forty years, from child star to the artist he is today. But 'Pagdating ng Panahon' for more than half of his career is what relaunched him as a musician, not just an actor. For Filipino-Australian audiences, the tour offers a rare chance to hear the song performed live in its anniversary arrangement, alongside a set spanning Seguerra's catalog and the stories behind it — the same spirit of shared memory that has defined the song's anniversary celebration since April: *hindi lang ito kanta ng kahapon, kanta ito ng bawat panahon* — it isn't just a song of yesterday, it's a song for every generation.
