Pee Mak PH Cast Comes Together for Story Conference, Bringing Fresh Energy to the Highly Anticipated Adaptation

The whole cast of #PeeMakPH has reunited following their cast reveal, which trended online, as they officially came together for the film’s story conference.

During the story conference, Director Victor Villanueva shared his excitement over the cast lineup he assembled for the Philippine adaptation. He believes the actors are not only perfect for their respective roles but can also bring their own flavor and personality to the characters—possibly even giving more than what the roles originally require.

For WilBea, the pressure of doing a Philippine adaptation of a well-loved Thai horror-comedy is something they fully acknowledge. But despite the pressure, Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene have expressed their trust in the entire team, their co-stars, and Director Victor Villanueva. They believe that with the people behind the film, they can create their own version of Pee Mak while giving the story a distinctly Filipino flavor.

Joining the cast is Gian Bernardino of Cup of Joe, the band behind the hit song “Multo.” Gian is set to take on acting for the first time, making Pee Mak PH his first acting project. He is excited about this new experience and confident that he is in good hands with the film’s director and cast.

Director Victor Villanueva also pointed out that Gian already has his own comedic timing, something that could make his transition into acting even more interesting to watch.

The film also brings in Vandolph, son of the legendary King of Comedy Dolphy, who is expected to bring his own brand of comedy and experience to the ensemble. He is joined by Jairus Aquino, a proven actor known for taking on different roles, and TJ Valderrama, whose intelligent approach to comedy adds another exciting element to the cast.

And if the energy during the story conference is any indication, Pee Mak PH already has something special going for it.

From the constant jokes, teasing, and inside jokes among the cast, their chemistry was already evident even before cameras started rolling. It was the kind of natural interaction that makes you feel that this group could deliver the kind of chaotic and hilarious moments that a horror-comedy like Pee Mak PH needs.

With a cast that brings different personalities, comedic styles, and acting backgrounds to the table, Pee Mak PH is shaping up to be more than just a straightforward adaptation. It looks ready to take the original story and give it its own Filipino identity while allowing its cast to put their own flavor into the characters.

#PeeMakPH, starring Wilbert Ross, Bea Binene, Gian Bernardino, Vandolph, TJ Valderrama, and Jairus Aquino, is directed by Victor Villanueva and is coming soon exclusively in cinemas.
