Movie Review: Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy

A case of mistaken identity, when one of the siblings is caught for the other's supposed act of stealing, leads to the two pairs' reunion. But instead of rejoicing, the quadruplets bicker, apparently due to their different upbringings. It doesn't help that their parents have issues left to settle.

As expected, entertaining yung film with all Vice Ganda’s punchline. I did not expect for a certain depthness of the story or technicalities of the film cause I know how Direk Wenn takes on his film. So the typical Wenn Deramas Vice Ganda film that the PINOY MASA truly enjoy, all of the formula at brand ng comedy na patok sa masa ay ganun ang quality. But if you will ask me this is not the best comedy film of Wenn Deramas compared to his latest film. Mas na enjoy kong panoorin ang Sisterakas at This Guy’s In Love With You Mare over this. Anyway still this is a good entertaining film to see this film fest if you would want to laugh out loud dahil benta pa rin naman ang comedy skit ni Vice. Now the question is until when? Hopefully Vice will transform as well and cater something new for us audience.

So bigyan na rin natin si Vice ng A for the effort to portray 4 characters in the film.

Pinaka funny ang character na girlie sa pelikula at Mark as bakla dahil very Vice Ganda lang ang peg nung character so those 2 are best portrayal of Vice here. Pansin ko lang parang lahat ng punchline sa trailer ay yun na rin ang punchline karamihan sa mga pelikula so parang binigay na nila lahat sa trailer. Infairness umeffort sila doon sa house na L.A. ang setting with matching Golden Gate Bridge pa in the background. Makinis, maliwanag at glossy din ang over all look ng film kaya masarap din siyang panooring visually. For the box office as espected SRO sa 3 sinehan ng SM Megamall and I think malalampasan nila ang My Little Bossings towards the end of the festival. Masasabi ko na ito ay isang pelikulang pampamilya na masarap panoorin sabay sabay ngayon MMFF 2013.

My Verdict: 3.5/5
