Movie Review: Amor Y Muerte

Set in the 16th century, “Amor Y Muerte” (which means “love and death”) is an examination of the initial encounter between the Indios (natives) and their colonizers (Spaniards) and their conflicting views on love, passion, religion, and sexuality.

Maganda yung tema na tinalakay dito sa film, something na hindi pa masyadong pinag uusapan at tinatalakay sa ating history. The movie is just an ok to me. Maayos naman ang pagkakagawa. The actors are good especially Marki Stroem. Althea fits into the role. Ms. Ama Quiambao on her last film was good here.
So kung gusto niyong mashock sa mga love scenes watch this dahil mas grabe pa ang ginawa dito compared sa Porno. Screenplay is good. So if you want to watch a historical film that tackles about religion and SEX set in 16th century, if you want to know the views of Spanish and Filipino about it watch this

My Verdict: 3/5

Direk Cesar Evangelista, Adrian Sebastian, Althea Vega, Marki Stroem, Kuya Manzano
