Gab and Gabby, two individuals who have strong opposing views on love and marriage, fall in love and agree to be in a committed relationship, notwithstanding their differing outlook in life. As they hit the 3-year mark, the couple find themselves back to where they started, as they ask themselves where their relationship is headed. Will they meet halfway or move on to different directions?
With appealing leads and a narrative approach that offers a fresh perspective on modern relationship, All of You tells a quietly absorbing story with unexpected emotional resonance. I got fall in love and cry to the heartfelt journey of relationship of Gab & Gabby presented in most realistic way. Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay in their second film together has easily established their chemistry as they deliver a natural portrayal of a modern couple having relationship issues and in limbo stage of getting married or to stay in a live in set up.
Though All Of You timeline changes, following the journey of relationship of Gab and Gabby, it stays to its central theme, exploring two characters living in a stagnant relationship. The screenplay of the film is commendable, aside from the fact that it is smooth flowing, most of the conversation and confrontation scene feels like natural and not scripted. The unpretentious bittersweet ending of the film will surely captivate your heart and the good rendition of Dying Inside sung by Darren Espanto as theme song of the film will definitely give you a last song syndrome The engaging trio of Jen, Derek and director Dan Villegas still works on this film for giving the audience a balance combination of romcom and drama that is suitable to the film.
