Movie Review: People Power Bombshell: The Diary of Vietnam Rose

A mystery dreamlike portrait of a movie star's horrowing ordeal in the making of a film. This is about Liz Alindongan, then a 19-year old naive newbie star, and director Celso Ad Castillo dubbed as Philippine cinema's messiah. It is structured as a mystery film, making viewers question whether to believe the account of Liz Alindongan.

Artistically made and believable in aspect that this film really finish the original film. Appreciated the feels, all of its technical aspect, elements and vision to make the film looks like one of the quality film in 80's.
Watching this film makes me more curious of previous works of director Celso Ad Castillo. The Diary of Vietnam Rose is one of the recent local art film that I truly like.

My Verdict: 3.5/5
