Movie Review: Malinak Ya Labi

It is a custom in some towns in Pangasinan to offer a life of an animal when constructing buildings, but one day during the town’s fiesta they discover the body of a young boy that leads to a chain of story and a chain of deaths.

I like its unconventional story telling. It's non linear but effectively deliver its story. A provincial story that provides insights to the urban legend that we always hear. This is a type of story that I like to hear, interested to watch to and effectively transforms into a big screen. A decent ensemble cast that fill up the wholeness of the film's vision.
