Iisa is a thriller about a never-ending war, a town ravaged by a devastating storm and the woman caught in between.
A tale that largely tells itself. With excellent acting by Ms. Rio Locsin, Angeli Bayani, Jess Mendoza and other cast, Iisa tells a captivating story in which survival desires, society and human kindness all shine and inspire. Well done disaster film capturing precisely the emotions felt by the victims and stunning heartbreaking images of a super typhoon. I love the heartwarming story. With its elegant cinematography, music, sound and production design, this kind of film should be watched by all Filipinos. The message of the film must engross to everyone.
