Movie Review: Resureksyon

An OFW is returned to her hometown as a corpse, but then rises from the dead as something not quite human.

What I like about this film is it style and look in giving us a new touch of horror. A weird and visually memorable film that gothic horror fans will love. A rare type of horror film that can be creepy one moment and tender suspenseful events afterwards. Resureksyon generates unbearable tension through artful technique, with excellent use of sound, music and awesome special effects.

Paulo Avelino and Jasmin Curtis both delivers in this film that gave us a fresh combination that we must see. They are two of the priced gem of the local film industry. Catch this film if you want to see a fairly made gothic local horror film.

My Verdict: 3/5
