Set during the Japanese Occupation, four friends (Nitoy, Benny, Carding,
and Badong) aspire nothing more than to become soldiers fighting the
Japanese... until they are confronted by the realities of war that
threaten to destroy their families and their friendship.
It’s nice to see these
kids in this kind of a period film. It’s really an audience pleaser if the
innocence of the kids is one of the major plots of the film. Mahuhusay ang mga
apat na bata na nagsipagganap. Screenplay and direction of the film is ok. This
film reminds us once again our history that at one point in our country we are invaded
by the Japanese.
My Verdict: 3/5
