Movie Review: The Third Party

The Third Party tells the complicated relationship of Andi (Angel Locsin) with her ex Max (Sam Milby), and his present boyfriend Christian (Zanjoe Marudo). What will happen when they find themselves in a situation where they have to constantly be in each other's radar?

Kudos fror bringing a non traditional gay film that we don't usually see on a local mainstream. The trailer of the film is just an icing to a good story that the film would like to share to its audience. The 3 lead characters, Angel, Sam and Zanjoe are perfect match for the film. Angel proves in this film that she can  nailed a bubbly character. Zanjoe's portrayal of a closet gay with subtle nuances is one of his great performance as an actor. Matet De Leon as always is super funny! I also like the film's crisp cinematography which is truly an eye candy and also a bonus point for me is its great theme song "Baby I Love Your Way". The Third Party is a feel good film that will make you laugh most of the time and  a wonderful film about three characters in which you can identify yourself with.

My Verdict:  4/5
