Meet The Young Men of 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten - Cinema One Originals Film Festival 2016 Official Entry


Khalil Ramos, Ethan Salvador and Jameson Blake star in a dark high school comedy 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten. Written by the acclaimed director Jason Paul Laxaman and helmed by the direction of a Kapampangan filmmaker Petersen Vargas. 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten is his first full length feature film that is close to his heart and tackles complex friendship of three young men in their sexual awakening stage of life.




Khalil Ramos as Felix in a film is a sinister young men that thinks a lot about other  people. If there are similarities between him and Felix is that he also talks to his conscience on decision making in life. He said that people should watch this film because they can relate to their stories, and this film can give social awareness on mental health in which we should not easily judge person on how they act or speak as we don't know where they are coming from.





Jameson Blake on his launching film push him to his limits to things that he did not expect that he can do especially in acting that he's been able to deliver different kind of emotion in this film. His character as Maxim Snyder  is a psychopath that has massive dark personality and has his own world  that do what he wants to do. On why people should see this film, he said that this film will show a not typical  friendship that you would ever had and you can learn a lot of things on their friendship.


Ethan Salvador on his launching film as Magnus Snyder is an aloof mysterious cool guy that has soft heart deep inside, baring a lot of teenage angst and searching for his purpose in the world. According to him director Petersen gave them liberty to their character to explore especially if they can relate and have personal inputs on it. In this film he learns to understand people different views and accepts that each people around us are different.





2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten is set in the late 90's in Pampanga a decade after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. Highschool sophomore Felix, dusgusted about his poor living conditions, finds an outlet in a journal-writing exercise for his English class.

At first, his journal is peppered with cynical obeservations against his teachers and classmates. But when two half-American students-the Snyder brothers-transfer to his school, he finds himself gravitating toward their mysterious personalitites. 

In spite of their aloofness, the Snyder brothers become instant campus sensations, thanks to their distinct looks. When the older Snyder asks Felix to tutor him in Geometry, Felix immediately grabs the chance not only to earn dollars but also to fulfill his burgeoning albeit hidden attraction for the Snyder brothers.

His increased interactions with the brothers slowly unearth desires within Felix which he never confronted before. As he penetrates the private lives of Snyder brothers, he learns that their lives aren't as glamorous as people think. Things spiral out of control when a sinister plot to murder the mother of the Snyder brother arises, leaving death and devastation along its path.



Cinema One Originals runs from November 14 to 22, 2016 at Trinoma, Glorietta, Gateway, Greenhills and Cinematheque.
