Movie Review: Buy Now, Die Later

Buy Now, Die Later revolves around the five senses. Each one of the characters is made to pay the price for striking a deal with mysterious curio shop owner Santi (TJ Trindad).

Buy Now, Die Later is a horror film with an intriguing premise and foreboding atmosphere. At first the movie started out with a very cliche pace, but there were a lot of twists and turns to keep up with in the movie. Solid tension is stretched through all of the acts, revealing significant details that add up to a climactic finale. The solid one for me is the third installment "Sarap" in which Rayver Cruz delivers, while Alex Gonzaga episode "Dinig" is the most entertaining. TJ Trinidad and Vhong Navarro is also notable in this film that gives justice to their character, as well as  Santi's store which is a real visual delight. Overall Buy Now, Die Later is a decent loud suspenseful film that intrigues and engages, taking the audience through unpredictable twists and turns along the way.

My Verdict: 4/5
