To remind everyone how inspiring it is to love and to feel loved, the
powerhouse ensemble – Kris Aquino, Derek Ramsay, Kim Chiu, Xian Lim,
Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion, Nova Villa, Ronaldo Valdez, Pokwang,
James “Bimby” Yap, and Julia and Talia Concio – join forces for this
2015 Metro Manila Film Fest entry.
A heartwarming romantic and family movie, "All You Need Is Pag-ibig”
explores and celebrates the complexity of human relationships in all
their forms.
The movie features varied forms of love: family love, sibling love,
puppy love, unrequited love, ruined love, prospering love, in denial
love, jaded love, and true love, among others.
After all, what the world needs now is love.
Amazing screenplay, well edited, stunning cinematography, once again Direk Tonet bring us to a place that we would like to visit in our country - Coron , Palawan that is well utilized in this film. My favorite segment is the Ian and Jodi story, it felt so natural and kilig. I did not expect that they have chemistry and can pull off their team-up amazingly. I became a fan of the two after watching this. Jodi Sta. Maria is a gem, she might bag an acting award for this film for her subtle performance in her character. The KimXi story is charming. Kim Chui as expected is witty as well as Xian who blended with Kim's performance. I also entertained with Kris Aquino's pabebe acting.
All You Need is Pag-ibig pulled into each story and you can easily follow each one, whether it is a sad story, a happy story, or a just flat out hilarious one. It has great writing, a great cast, and multiple stories that fit very well together.
The surprise for me in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival. I did not expect for this film when I enter the cinema but it delivers a quality feel good all star cast romantic comedy film. A must see entertaining film in this festival.
