Synopsis of the Film

Gerald Anderson will be playing Daniel, an inmate who will turn into a hitman/professional killer. Meanwhile, Piolo Pascual plays the character of an NBI agent who will hunt Daniel. A son of an NBI chief and with a wife the daughter of a congressman, Piolo's character is torn between his duty, his conscience and his family.

OTJ has its world premiere on in the 66th Cannes International Film Festival as a selection in Director's Fortnight Section. Internationally-acclaimed action-thriller "OTJ" (On The Job) won two major awards in the recently held 17th Puchon International Fantastic Film Fest in South Korea.  OTJ won jury’s choice, while one of its lead actors, Joel Torre, bagged the best actor trophy.

 

Esquire Philippines Magazine on August 2013 edition features the movie OTJ and making it’s 3 lead actors Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson and Joel Torre as cover of the magazine.

From the trailer I like how Manila was captured in the film and it looks like the film has an edgy story. It’s nice to see Piolo Pascual and Gerald Anderson on this kind of movie that not the usual mainstream flick that they are doing. Seems that Gerald and Piolo was given an out of the box and edgy role It is good that Star Cinema accept this film because it’s been a while that we’ve been able to watch a quality suspense action flick. So I am really looking forward for this much anticipated film. I have high expectation for this film that will come to theaters nationwide on August 28 2013.
