Movie Review: Maynila Sa Kuko Ng Liwanag

I 've been able to watch the special screening of this film on Cinemalaya 2013. It’s good to see Manila 40 years ago. This movie was very classic. It also tackles the current situation of Manila at that time. Poverty, prostitution, corruption those are the issues that was shown here. Ms. Hilda Koronel was s pretty in the movie. Napakahusay na pagganap ni Bembol Roco at ni Ms. Hilda Koronel. Then may mga shot na rin pala dati that still ina apply sa current filmmaking except yung zoom out and zoom in. Madaming mga shot dito na maraming ibig sabihin. If you will going to reflect on this film you will realize that the common problem of society is still there may be changes on the look and the things that we are using and form or means of doing certain things but the problem is still there.
