In 1971, Carolyn and Roger Perron move their family into a dilapidated
Rhode Island farm house and soon strange things start happening around
it with escalating nightmarish terror. In desperation, Carolyn contacts
the noted paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, to examine
the house. What the Warrens discover is a whole area steeped in a
satanic haunting that is now targeting the Perron family wherever they
go. To stop this evil, the Warrens will have to call upon all their
skills and spiritual strength to defeat this spectral menace at its
source that threatens to destroy everyone involved.
A well made horror suspense american film. This film should be the epitome of a horror film in US and here in the Philippines. Finally nakagawa na rin ang US ng isang quality horror film after a long time. Napakalinis ng pagkakagawa ng pelikula from technicalities up to the story. Madalang sa isang horror film na naitatawid ang isang maganda at may value na story. Dito hindi pinilit yung story at lumutang pa rin yung mensahe na gustong sabihin ng pelikula kahit horror ito. Which is the importance of love of a family. Sobrang tumatak sa akin yung scene na nakatulong upang matauhan sa possession yung mother nung ipinaalala sa kanya ang happy moments ng kanyang pamilya sobrang tagos sa akin yung part na iyon as a viewer.
Mas madaming nakakagulat na part ang movie more than of nakakatakot. Siguro yung nakakatakot na part here is yung iisipin mo na true to life story ito na pwedeng mangyari sa atin. Napakahusay, malinis, maayos at pagkakagawa ng pelikulang ito, I hope na makagawa din tayo ng ganitong kalibre na horror na pelikula. A must watch horror film that you will appreciate more in a big screen. No wonder patok na patok ito at puno ang sinehan when I watch this film on first screening. Ginawa pang 2 cinema ang binagay ng Megamall over sa Ang Huling Henya na may kahati na Hollywood Film sa isang sinehan dahil much better na panoorin ito over the local film. Sulit na sulit ang perang ibabayad niyo. I am looking forward for a sequel of this film or the director could come up with the same quality of horror-suspense in his next film.
