“Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo” isa a ‘self-help’ comedy movie about the lives of brainy ‘ugly duckling’ employee Sandy Veloso (Kim) and his rich and dashing boss Alex Prieto (Xian).
From an interesting encounter, the boss and the assistant will find themselves sealing a deal–Sandy will help Alex learn the ropes for him to effectively run their company, while Alex helps Sandy learn to play the practical game of dating and relationships for her to get back on her ex-boyfriend Gardo and not get her heart broken ever again.
This
movie got a witty and funny screenplay. Not the usual that you will see in a
star cinema movie. The film has a good balance of comedy and romance. Kim Chui
was very funny in the film, bumagay sa kanya ang role at nagampanan niya ng
mahusay. Maayos ang pagkakadirek ng film at pagkakakulay sa pelikula. Napakataba
talaga ng utak ni Ms. Joyce Bernal para mabalanse ang sobrang nakakatawa na
film at makapaglagay ng romantic feel sa pelikula. Napalabas niya ang chemistry
ni Kim Chui and Xian Lim. The film is also well appreciated by the audience
dahil there a lot of scenes that the audience react at natatawa sa mga eksenang
pinapanood nila. Almost full din yung loob ng sinehan sa Megamall when I watch
this so I think for sure na box office hit ito at lalampas ng 100 million ang
kikitain.
One
thing na nakadagdag pa sa ganda ng pelikula is yung pag adapt sa book na Bakit
Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? dahil ipinakita talaga dito ang realities tungkol
sa pagmamahal, pagmomove on and stages of having a relationship. This was done
in a witty and brilliant point of view of Mr. Ramon Bautista. I also like the theme
song of the film sung by Zia Quizon, lakas maka LSS ng Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng
Crush Mo? Star Cinema is successful in launching the love team of KimXi by
making this film and I am looking forward for a follow-up film of the two. So
if you would want to watch a romcom film that you will laugh on every 10
minutes and enjoy it watch this film.
