Filipino families and movie enthusiasts can now experience the epic journey of Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King,” which has earned a G (General Audience) rating from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), making it suitable for all audiences.
The tale of courage, perseverance, family and self-discovery of Mufasa, offers visual and musical spectacle including in IMAX and 4DX for the viewers’ ultimate adventure.
Another family-friendly release this week is “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club,” which also received a G rating. This animated story is centered on friendship, personal growth and the passion of school idol performances.

For audiences seeking a more intense cinematic experience, “Werewolves” has been rated R-13 suited for viewers aged 13 and above. This survival horror movie is about genetic mutation and moral choices when facing overwhelming odds, featuring substantial scenes and themes that are best suited for mature audiences.
MTRCB Chairperson and CEO Lala Sotto-Antonio reminds parents and supervising adults that the ratings are designed to help them guide younger viewers in making informed decisions about the film their children will watch.
