BINI and SB19 emerged as the night’s most celebrated artists at the Awit Awards 2025, held Sunday evening at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City. The two powerhouse P-pop groups dominated the ceremony with multiple major wins, further solidifying their influence in the OPM landscape.
BINI took home three major trophies: People’s Voice Favorite Group Artist, People’s Voice Favorite Album of the Year for Talaarawan, and Best Dance/Electronic Recording for their viral hit Salamin, Salamin. Their fandom, the Blooms, also shone brightly after winning the Vibe Stan Award.
SB19, meanwhile, clinched four awards—Best Global Collaboration Recording, Best Rap/Hip-Hop Recording, Best Cover Art, and Best Music Video. The members also scored individual achievements: Stell won Breakthrough Artist under the People’s Voice category for his single Room and was named Favorite New Solo Artist, while Felip bagged People’s Voice Favorite Solo Artist. Justin added to the group’s victories with Favorite Music Video of the Year for Surreal.
Adding star power and youthful energy to the night, Vibe hosted the Awit Awards 2025 and led the Purple Carpet program with a strong lineup of hosts: Elijah Canlas, Dylan Menor, Paulo Angeles, Joao Constancia, Ryle Santiago, Anna Ramsey, Queenee Mercado, Maxie Anderson, Kych Minemoto, Adam Buck, Mark Ian Garcia, Niko Badayos, and Benj Pascual.
