Movie Review: Ant-Man

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

A super hero movie with laughs and a heart. Paul Rudd is charming, shines as the unlikely hero and completely stole the show. Certainly, the plot follows the rules of the unlikely hero gets convinced and trained to become something more trope without much surprises. Its small scale action is fun and unique while its small scale story of is heartfelt. I like the treatment of the film, its not your usual marvel superhero film. It is heavy on the comedy and light on the suspense. The best moments involve humor. Its remarkable special effects is also to watch out for. Overall, despite its mediocre villain, it had a great cast, humor, fun connections and a good heart at the center. A cute entertaining Marvel superhero film that must watch this season.

My Verdict:  4.5/5
