Movie Review: Halik sa Hangin

A young woman is brought to Baguio by her new stepfather. While she struggles with her new family and surroundings, she finds herself torn between two young men who bring passion into her life.

Halik Sa Hangin is a fairly made horror suspense romantic local film that balanced its genre effectively. Anchored by the 3 of the good actors and actres of their generation Julia Montes, Gerald Anderson and JC De Vera. I would like to commend Julia for giving us her convincing and great performance for this film. She truly embrace
her character in this film. JC De Vera shows us his light side in this film as a rabid admirer of Julia. Gerald on the other hand shows his dark side here and delivers. Totality of the film I can say that this film will give us a different flavor of love story
that we not usually see on a mainstream film. I like how they utilize the Baguio to make it a perfect venue to tell a different kind of love story bounded with outside forces.

I feel the cold breeze inside the cinema by letting me see the beautiful scenic spot of Baguio. Cinematography and Production Design is good though I have some minor concerns on editing and continuity but it not affect the totality of the film. The theme song also is a good catch for the film as well as Ina Raymundo that still so sexy and pretty and doesn't look older. She still have her prime as an actress and I appreciate her shining moment with Julia in the film. Overall the film is roller coaster ride of romance, horror, suspense and dreams to a shocking final awakening you will never forget.

My Verdict: 3/5
