Movie Review: Sigaw Sa Hatinggabi

Sigaw sa Hatinggabi is about an investigation into possible murder of a battered wife whose husband is well known.  It is not clear whether the woman was   The film is told in a “Big Brother” style, as a documentary TV production crew records the efforts of a paranormal investigation group to find who killed the woman.  With the leadership of a celebrity medium, the group suspects that the murder was committed by the ghost of a serial killer who died more than two decades ago.  As the investigation continues, the celebrity medium keeps a secret that may endanger everyone trying to solve the mystery murder.

I've been able to watch the premiere night of Sigaw sa Hatinggabi last October 23 2014 at SM North EDSA D Block. Despite the technical issues of the film still the premiere showing push through. I can say that this entry will also be loved and appreciated by all the horror pinoy movie lovers as it has all the elements that a typical horror pinoy flick have. This is the launching film of Regine Angeles and I am happy for her that finally she was given a break in this film. Regine is good in this film as a human medium spirit. So wacth out on how's Regine's character has been able to solve a crime. The film also showcase new breed of actors and actress. Sigaw Sa Hatinggabi takes a standard story comprised of the usual components, and with warmth and commitment makes them not just palatable, but successful. This is another scary local horror-suspense film to watch on Sineng Pambansa Horror Plus Film Festival.

My Verdict:  3/5
