Movie Review: Pukpok

A short film about being a man of a young child or what we called in tagalog “pagpapatule” by means of Pukpok. It is very light and feel good movie.  I like the treatment that they did in the movie it easily delivers the message to the audience.

Movie Review: Tsansa

A short film about a young filmmaker  in province struggling to create his first short film. I got the story but medyo naguluhan lang ako sa mga eksena at sa treatment na ginawa sa movie na parang di siya magkakaconnect. Hindi maayos yung screenplay. But in fairness malinaw yung movie di siya mukhang putchu putchung short film.

Movie Review: Tagad "Skateboarding in Cebu"

A short film about young people sharing their own story about their hobby, skateboarding. I like the treatment that they did in the film, narrative and then they just showcase their skateboarding talent in
in street, the real experience that they encounter. Light lang din yung dating ng movie.

Movie Review:  Sonata

A short film about the  conflict between a mother who has hearing problem and her daughter which is developing into a teenager. It has a good story to tell and touching din yun movie. The only problem is yung texture ng film medyo kinabog siya ng other films in terms of glossiness para kasing puchu puchu yung dating nung texture lang naman ng movie but content wise film is good. Plus factor pa yung mga mahuhusay na mainstream actress  portray  in this film including Dimples Romana, Ella Guevarra and Perla Bautista.

Movie Review:  Manibela

A short film about a dedicated loving father taxi driver that became a victim of an exhibitionist rapist. I like the treatment that they did in the film, fast paced and maayos din ang screenplay so for me ito yung pinakamaayos na pagkakagawa na short film dahil nabalanse niya. One of a kind din yung movie.

Movie Review: Obsesyon

A short film about woman that is obsessed to a serial killer rapist that she pretend to become a victim for her to achieve tha man of his life. I am just looking for something different na pwedeng ipakita ng movie. The movie is just ok.

Movie Review: Ritwal

A short film about a young men asking advise to an ambularyo para makagayuma ng babaeng gugusthin niya ngunit parati itong sumasablay. So the treatment of the movie is comedy. It’s just a so so film.

Movie Review: Kinse

So I like the plot of the film. It got a unique plot. I also like the treatment in the film. Nevertheless the short film is good.

Movie Review: Lugaw

A short film about a loving father that will do anything for his child.

Movie Review: Rolyo

A short film about a family that lost a patriarch during martial law due to his job as photojournalism and now the older brother is not allowing his younger brother to follow the footstep of their father. So may pagka melo dramatic yung film. Masyadong madrama at mabagal ang pacing. Though maganda yung content at material I just don’t like the treatment of being melodramatic.
