Movie Review: In Nomine Matris

The story of a young dance protege who seeks to land the principal part of a dance company about to embark on a tour. The film fuses dances and Spanish flamenco rhythms and steps.  The conflict starts when Mara the lead character fell in love with the son of her mentor Enrique to a point that Mara got pregnant and still continue to pursue her career until the life of her baby got compromised.

The movie got a unique plot and this is the first film that I watched that tackles the Spanish flamingo. I am a bit disappointed sa film as I have expectation on this based on the trailer. Nahabaan ako sa pelikula na pwede naman itong itrim sana still they could be able to achieve the message of the film. Though maayos naman yung screenplay ng movie pero medyo mahaba talaga at slow paced. The actors did good as well. All of them deliver especially the lead actress. Naitawid naman ng movie yung goal niya and I got it.

My Verdict: 2.5/5
