Kulas is a 10-year old boy constantly being bullied in school. One night, he decides to take revenge: he dresses up as a movie monster to scare his bullies away. Things don't go as planned and he learns that there is another monster lurking.

A child film with a simple message but with a big heart

My Verdict:  3.5/5

A conversation about life and death.

Short and swift with heavy thoughts to ponder on

 My Verdict:  3/5

Set in the year 2003, Katherine Kaye Jones, was a child of a call girl, Ellie Pilorin and an MIA American man. A poster of the Regional Science Quiz Bee, and her mother's American client will be the ingredients that will fuel Kakay's curiosity and determination to finally be in contact with her father.

A heartwarming short film that I truly love and made me cry. I feel the longingness of the child to his father

My Verdict:  4/5

A student must brave the perils of public transportation in modern Manila. He meets other commuters who have already found ways of survival, and must find his own if he wants to get home in one piece.

A relatable short film done creatively for all public commuters.

 My Verdict:  3/5

Ina Nyo (Your Mother) is a day in the life of Ana, a young housemaid in Manila, and her quiet resilience as she is hassled by the family she has come to care for and know. While desperate to send more money to her mother, her job is suddenly jeopardized when the rivalry of the siblings and their desire for her go too far. Ana struggles with how to maintain her livelihood.

A solid short film anchored with the great cast and good performances. Could be developed into full length. The intensity of the relationship of each of the character are truly felt.

 My Verdict:  4/5

Lucy returns to her father's land after being sent away for not agreeing with the way of their people.

Her father and his people, a tribe of planters and farmers, have fallen on hard times and it is in her
intentions to help them.

Lucy's brother, Michael, has taken over and has been trying to bring back the land to its former glory.

Lucy realizes that the people's faith in her father and in the land is dwindling. After a series of events, she finally sees the place as hopeless and she wishes to bring them all back to where she came from, which she describes as paradise

Great production value. I love the looks and production design of this short film.

My Verdict: 3/5

Joshua, a timid teenager, comes home one night after beaten up by the school's bully. Feeling the urge to avenge himself, he decides to take matters into his own hands. But things don't go as planned. Now, he is left with no choice but to seek help from his policeman father.

Less is more in this film as its been able to explore the two main characters in details in just 11 minutes. Fine performances from all of the cast

 My Verdict:  4.5/5

Two student filmmakers set out to do a documentary about the circulation of drugs within their city, but as they go on along with their subjects, they slowly get involved until the point of no return.

A timely socio political film. Its dark and shaky cinematography are enough to convey the message of the film

My Verdict: 3.5/5

After refusing a ritual intended to usher him into manhood, Rene-boy (10), tries alternate methods to remove this mark of cowardice.

A cute short film about circumcision that also reflects the current status of lives in rural community.

My Verdict: 3.5/5
