Movie Review: Satan's Slaves

After dying from a strange illness that she suffered for 3 years, a mother returns home to pick up her children. The film tells the story of a family of four who must take evil head-on after their mother dies. Featuring plenty of scares and a shocking plot twist, the film is set in 1981, one year before the classic horror movie was set.

A well made horror film that utilize its story, music and atmosphere to effectively scare its audience. A scare fest thrills that will definitely leave you at the edge of your seat every minute. Satan's Slaves created suspense and tension that just made you so nervous and make an effective good scares. The film has an interesting premise and a brilliant moments that genuinely surprised me and had me caring about the kids in the film. The tension builds with the characters whenever they encounter the ghost. The film has its cliche of a typical horror movie. but overall it's good. A pretty good horror movie that is worth watching. Satan's Slaves opens in Philippine cinemas starting December 6.

 My Verdict: 4/5
