MQuest Artists Agency Holds Exclusive Summer Workshops with PH Top Acting Coach, Director Rahyan Carlos

 

MQuest Artists Agency (MQAA) is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for aspiring actors and industry veterans alike: summer workshops led by the top acting coach in the Philippines, Direk Rahyan Carlos. The workshops will allow participants to learn directly from one of the most respected figures in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Since 1997, Rahyan Carlos has made an indelible mark in film and television as an accomplished director, scriptwriter, and acting coach. With a career spanning decades, Carlos is the creative force behind some of the country’s most iconic films, including the popular Shake, Rattle & Roll 8, the suspenseful Pamahiin, and the internationally acclaimed independent film Ringgo: The Dog Shooter. His work in television has also been widely praised, with notable series such as Florinda and Lovespell on ABS-CBN, as well as Regal Shocker on TV5.

Carlos’s credentials as an acting coach are equally impressive. Trained under the legendary Hollywood acting coach Ivana Chubbuck—whose clients include Hollywood stars like Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Sylvester Stallone, and Charlize Theron—Carlos is the only Filipino authorized to teach the prestigious Chubbuck Technique in the Philippines. Over the past 26 years, he has mentored countless award-winning actors, both in the Philippines and abroad, and continues to inspire future generations of talent.

This summer, Carlos will bring his expertise to MQuest Artists Agency’s workshops, where he will introduce participants to the Chubbuck Technique, a transformative approach to acting that has shaped the careers of Hollywood’s elite. Whether you're just starting out or already an experienced actor, these workshops offer invaluable insights into the craft of acting and provide an opportunity to take your skills to the next level.

Participants will also have the chance to be discovered and added to the MQAA Artists Registry, a step toward future opportunities in the entertainment industry.

In-person registration for the workshop will be held on April 12 and 13, 2025, at the 10th Floor, Launchpad Building, Reliance Street, Mandaluyong City.
