Movie Review: Silong

Doctor Miguel Cascarro (Piolo Pascual) is mourning the death of his pregnant wife in a bus accident. As he drives home one day, he finds a badly beaten and bloody Valerie (Rhian Ramos) on a deserted country road and takes her home to nurse her back to health. But the deepest scars are the ones you can't see.

Silong is a fast paced suspense thriller that will give you too many twists. With good chemistry and audacious performance by Rhian Ramos and Piolo Pascual, you'll be asking more for them to do a film. It's been a while since I saw this kind of local film that I feel gross and filthy disgusted while watching. Silong was a fairly made suspense thriller local film that brings something new to the table and a fairly standard chiller with some above average ideas and decent scares.

My Verdict: 3.5/5
