Movie Review: Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

First half is good which I like its fast paced and treatment though its second half feel rushed. This reboot of the Marvel superhero franchise spends too much time establishing the story and trick the audience into anticipating a grand conclusion that never arrives. Nevertheless I appreciate the film's effort to provide an original story and avoid the usual premise that a Marvel superhero film offers. Fantastic Four was good but not as great as it could have been, building up much promise and prepping up for a possible sequel which I am willing to give chance.

My Verdict:  4/5
