Movie Review: The Love Affair

The Love Affair revolves around the intertwining stories of Vince (Richard Gomez), Tricia (Dawn Zulueta), and Adie (Bea Alonzo), who will find themselves at the “crossroads” of their lives. Will they find their happiness?

Kudos for having a full house in cinemas not that I expected that this film would have a huge audience. Ofcourse as always Bea Alonzo is really really good in this film as she always affects me in most of hee emotional scenes. Dawn is so adorable with her classic beauty. The CharDawn tandem still works and has kilig
I also love the character of Ina Feleo that gave a truthful and affecting performance. I appreciate Jane Oineza's subtle acting in this film and her scene with Bea is one of my favorite along with Al Tantay and Bea Alonzo dramatic scene that makes my heart cries.
And lastly Victor Silayan and Grae Fernandez is pleasant to watch in big screen that could be a leading men in a film someday.

The Love Affair is a fairly made mistress film with outstanding performance from Bea Alonzo and undeniable chemistry of Richard Goomez and Dawn Zulueta.
The film tries to be different by it's classy campy treatment with its plot and setting but still anchored by the cliche of an infedelity mainstream film that still works because it has solid actors, catchy dialogue and enough charm to keep it appealing to a wide audience.

My Verdict:  3/5
