Movie Review : The Animals

I am so excited to watch this film. Direk Gino thanks us for coming despite the rain.  This is the first screening of the movie ever. Albie is also present on that screening. The movie was so strong and brave. It tackles issues about this youth generation from love, sex, lifestyle ,fraternity family relationship peer pressure and others particularly in upper middle class family. Maganda yung pagkakapresent , napakarealaistic especially dun sa scene na naguusap silang magbabarkada sa canteen nagandahan ako sa approach kasi very natural they just talk habang  ang ganda ng shots ng camera. Very realistic din yung script na parang nakikinig ka lang sa typical na pinaguusapan ng mga kabataan ngayun. Shocking din yung mga bugbugan scene sa fraternity and sa party as in ibang approach sya. Sa make out scene naman ni allbie and dawn there is a tounge.

 Basta ang ganda ng screenplay lalo na dun sa party scene yung mga ilaw mafefeel mo na parang ka ring nasa party. Nakarelate talaga ako sa film dahil party animal din ako hehe. May mga agaw eksena sa film like yung friend ni dawn na sobrang lasing na halos nangudngud na sa inidoro that was so yucky talaga maski yung mga tao sobrang nandiri very effective yung scene. Then agaw eksena din yung pag attempt ng rape ni Bryan Homecillo dahil very funny yung scene na pinakita yung notes ni nang di siya pinagbigyan ni dawn haha. 

Then climax kung climax talaga ang film sobrang affected ako dun sa rape scene ni dawn with the taxi driver na natakot talaga ako sumakay ng taxi because of that. The movie shows its climax scene very well at napakita talaga ng maayos as in shock ka talaga and the ending talagang aabangan mo ano kaya nangyari kay dawn buhay ba siya o patay then towards the end pinakita yung body ni dawn na tinapon sa isang bangin then end credit na. What a shocking ending. Talagang nai convey na maayos kung ano yung message nung film which is to be responsible and you will the pay the consequences for the bad things that you have done. Job well done for the movie. Very raw at talagang naapektuhan ako sa pelikula. Good editing and cinematography.  Twice ko napanood yung film and mas naapreciate ko siya sa 2^nd time that I watch. The movie exceed my expectations.  This is one of my favorite film this year.

Albie after the first screening of The Animals

So after the film picture taking time, ang daming nagpapapicture kay albie and it takes a lot of courage from me to ask picture from albie at nagawa ko naman naging training ground ko din ito kung paano magpapicture sa mga artista cause i know many more to come haha. Albie was so kind to accommodate me for the pic. Then yun gusto ko magpapicture ke direk gino but nahihiya ako at di ako makakuwa ng tiyempo but he is so cute. Then dumating na yung mga artista ng movie Ang Nawawala because its there gala Mark Abaya was there. Then they  selling souvenir for the movie like posters pin tshirt and bag . I like the white T shirt so badly.
