Movie Review: Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako
Story revolves about the family life of Enteng and Agimat.
Agimat getting married to Samara and Enteng celebrating silver wedding
annieversary to Fae. Joining them is AKO an environmentalist which is a diwata
as well that will help Enteng and Agimat to fight the vllain. Ofcourse kasama
parin sa cast ang masayang pamilya ni Enteng na sina Ruby Jose and Wally Oyo
Boy and Aiza. So the role of AKO here is kikay na mahilig sa group hug na
pinagselosan ng mga asawa nina Enteng at Agimat. When the alien came to earth
nagsanib pwersa sina Agimat Enteng at Ako para sugpuin ito.
Movie Review: Sosy Problems
The movie shows about the life of 4 sossy na ipinaglaban ang
pagdemolish ng isang Polo Club upang gawing isang on what they called a yaya
mall. Ipinakita ang exaggeration ng pagiging sossy rito sa situation sa buhay. Like on Rhian’s case na namuhay sa
probinsya dahil she needs to learn her lesson dahil masyado na syang spoiled
brat, struggles of Bianca King na nung maghirap na sila ay bumili ng mga fake
shoes and bag at tinarget makuwa ang isang mayamang bachelor para magsalba sa
paghihirap nila. The competition between Heart and Solen over a one ordinary
guy pati na rin ang mga magulang nila na may mga personal issues noon noon pa.
Movie Review: Thy Womb
Isang pelikula tumalakay sa buhay ng isang mag asawang
badjao na hindi biniyayaan ng anak. Ang maybahay na si Nora Aunor na isang
kumadrona ay naghahanap ng mapapangasawa muli ng kanyang asawa para magka anak
sila. Ngunit hindi ito kadali dahil humihingi ng malaking dowry ang babeng
hinahanap niya at bukod dito ay may hinihinging kapalit ang nahanap nilang
mapapangasawa na masyadong masakit para sa kanilang mag – asawa. Ipinakita din
ng pelikulang ito ang typical na buhay ng isang badjao, ang kanilang kultura sa
pag aasawa , ang kanilang hanap buhay at ang kanilang problemang pulitikal sa
sarilng bayan.
Movie Review: El Presidente
The movie shows the life and journey of our El Presidenete
Emilio Aguinaldo towards achieving the freedom of our country. It’s all started
when he became government official of Cavite under Spanish leadership until he
joins the KKK under the Magdalo Group then he became the president of the
Himagsikan government and then we achieve the Freedom in 1898. But after that the
movie also shows the struggle of Aguinaldo under the American Government and
liberation of their colony in our country. The movie also shows the
relationship of Aguinaldo to Andres Bonifacio and Antonio Luna.

Movie Review: Shake Rattle and Roll 14: The Invasion
The Pamana episode is about the movie character that was
made by Uncle of the 3 lead stars na nagkaroon ng buhay at sinimulang manakot
sa mga pamilya nila. The Lost Command Episode is about sa grupo ng mga sundalo
na naligaw sa gubat na napadpad sa kuta ng mga sundalong zombies. And the
Unwanted episode is an apocalyptic story in which the alien already invaded our
country, peg ng episode na ito ang Hollywood film na The Darkest Hour and
Skyline.
Movie Review: Sisterakas
Ang pelikulang ito ay umikot sa 2 magkapatid sa ama na sina
Aiai and Vice na nagging biktima ng poot ng kanilang mga magulang.
Nakapagtrabaho si Aiai sa fashion company ni Vice at para makaganti ay
pinahirapan ni Vice ng husto si Aiai. On the other side, the rival company of
Vice owned by Kris makes a way para ma pirate si Aiai na may talento rin sa pag
guhit ng mga damit. And the conflict of the movie starts there.

Movie Review: The Strangers
The movie is all about a family na naligaw sa isang liblib
ng bayan na pinamumugaran ng kakaibang creature. Nagsimula ang lahat ng may masagasaan sila na babae sa tulay
pagkatapos noon ay nasira ang kanilang sasakyan at napadpadpad sa isang lugar
na may tinutugis din na isang tao na tinuturing nilang aswang. Ngunit hindi
alam ng bayan na tinuluyan nila kung sila ba ay nagpatuloy na kakampi o kaaway.
Movie Review: One More Try
The movie tells story of a woman (Angel Locsin) who is willing to do
anything to extend the life of his son. It comes to a point that the son needs
the help of his father (Dingdong) who is married already to another girl (Angelica). The woman not
only needs financial support, she needs more than that .The wife of the father wont allow to
give the other needs of the woman and the conflict of the movie starts there.
Well what I can say about the movie is, it is very well made sexy drama heartwarming family movie. Madami dami din mga scenes na naiyak ako at talagang na touch sa mga ekena kasi tinuntumbok ng pelikulang ito ang pinakamakahaga sa buhay ng tao and relasyon at pamilya. I like the way how the story was made first of all it is something new na ngayon lang
Well what I can say about the movie is, it is very well made sexy drama heartwarming family movie. Movie Review: Paglaya sa Tanikala
The movie is about a young kid
Berto, a rugby-sniffing street
child that has fallen prey to human traffickers. When the street urchin meets
Somascan Bro. Jerry, he finds refuge in the Casa Miani orphanage. But the brotherhood
of the streets compels him to follow their code. The conflict starts when
the leader of the human traffickers still follows Berto on the orphanage and
blackmails the kid. The movie also shows the story of the St. Jerome
Movie Review: In Nomine Matris
The story of a young dance protege who seeks to land the principal
part of a dance company about to embark on a tour. The film fuses dances and
Spanish flamenco rhythms and steps. The conflict
starts when Mara the lead character fell in love with the son of her mentor
Enrique to a point that Mara got pregnant and still continue to pursue her
career until the life of her baby got compromised.
Movie Review: Gayak
A story of a tailor and his struggles with his relationship with
his son as he grows up. "GAYAK" is a movie about a father's (Alan
Paule) unconditional love for his son (Sef Cadayona) and the son's journey
towards self-discovery set in the backdrop of one of the most unique practice
of Catholic devotion, the "Pagsa-San Juan" in Brgy. Bibiclat, Aliaga,
Nueva Ecija. The movie explores intimate relationships -- father to son, son to
father, brother to sister (Evelyn Vargas), between cousins (Richard Bradley),
and among members of a rural community within the context of faith, love and
hope.
Movie Review: The Grave Bandits
This movie surprises me, I did not expect that this movie is
going to be a big one. Sa quality pa lang ng texture ng film , napakalinaw
cause they used red cam. Well the movie is about the young boy and a men na mga
magnanakaw sa gamit ng patay sa sementeryo.
Then sa huling bayan na pinuntahan nila ay nahuli sila kaya hinabol sila
ng mga taong bayan hanggang sa makarating sila sa isang isla na dominated ng
mga zombies na kumakain ng kapwa tao at doon nila na meet ang 2 survivor sa
isla na iyon na siyang nakakaalam ng dahilan kung bakit nagging zmbie ang mga
tao doon. The conflict will start their kung papaano sila makakatakas sa isla
na iyon o magiging isa din ba sila sa mga zombie.
The movie really amazes me. It got a good screenplay. Every
scene is worth watching for. Talagang aabangan mo ang bawat eksena. It also got
a solid unique story. They used non actors sa film na ito and I thnk mga
veteran character actor na madalang kong mapanood sa mainstream. All of the
actors did well on their role. So maganda din pala na ganito yung
Movie Review: Ad Ignorantiam
The movie tackles about the justice system here in the
Phiippines and it was based on true story, happens in 2001 and the suspect
given a verdict at 2007. This movie makes me realize the reality that we have
for the judiciary in our country. That an innocent person can go to jail and
that’s what happen here in the film. Napagbintangan lamang si Kristoffer King
na naghablot ng kwintas ni Ina Feleo pero nakulong ito. Nakakalungkot isipin na
may mga ganitong pangyayari sa Pilipinas, lalo na kapag mahirap ka na tao wala
kang kalaban laban kapag may kaso ka, sa pagkuwa pa lang abogado pahirapan na.
Ipinakita rito ang proseso ng mga totoong pangyayari sa isang taong inakusahan
sa pagnanakaw. So the treatment that they did in this film is the same as what
they did in Posas in which hindi steady ang camera , sumusunod lang sa
character, then nangyari lang din sa isang araw, maski yung tema medyo may
pagkakaparehas sila in terms of pagpapakita ng kabulukan ng isang public

Movie Review: MMFF 2012 CinePhone Film Festival
It is very great to watch this kind of short film made by
young students. It's nice to know that they can create short film at young age.
I would like to praise all of the entry for this year Cinephone cause they
could be able to put up on this kind of film. I see potentials on most of the
entries, that they could be the future or our local movie industry. And after
watching all of the short films. Here are my Top 10 list:
10. Promdi
I like their
creativeness of making a skit of spoof of a hollywood movie then they relate it
on traffic violations. It is very funny yung mga spoof na ginawa nila and it is
effective for me. Malinaw din yung film, glossy
yung dating.
