Award-winning director-writer-producer, Njel de Mesa’s JejuVu is a romantic comedy starringthe “Muse of Philippine Cinema”,Arci Muñoz, about two lovers who only meet each other in their dreams but end up in search of each other during their waking hours.
They desperately try to find clues to determine each other’s whereabouts buttheir plans are constantly foiled by mundane activities and realities during their waking hours. The film is a revision of an old spec script of Njel de Mesa entitled, “Doon Lang” which was also an adaptation of his old playscript for theater entitled “Somnambulism”—which previously had several runs in his former Koiné theater company.Both Director Njelde Mesa and Arci Muñoz are credited as artistic directors, executive producers, and for story and concept as well—with the production produced under NDMstudios.
Pre-production for the project is already this April and principal photography for the film will begin during the last week of April 2023.
