Bakery Fair 2023 happens from March 2 to 4 at the World Trade Center Manila

"Bakery Fair 2023", the Philippines' biggest and most star-studded bakery industry event happens from March 2 to 4, 2023 at the World Trade Center at Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. corner Macapagal Boulevard at Pasay City. This was announced by the organizer Filipino Chinese Bakery Association, Inc. (FCBAI) led by President Gerik Chua and other officers.


Bakery Fair 2023 is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm. All baking, pastries and food enthusiasts and the public is invited.


Vice President Sarah Duterte Carpio, Senator Imee Marcos, Senator Loren Legarda, Senator Mark Villar, Senator Koko Pimentel, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and other leaders congratulated FBCBAI for organizing the event which supports the revival of the Philippine bakery industry which suffered a big blow during the pandemic.


  

Leaders of various Asian and Asean bakery associations and business leaders are expected to grace Bakery Fair 2023. Bakery Fair 2023 has 136 exhibitors to showcase their products.

Another highlight of the event is its educational component where technical experts, bakers, chefs and industry professionals will provide seminars about the food and baking sector in the country.

"Bakery Fair" is the biennial civic project of the FCBAI to promote and uplift the Philippine bakery industry despite inflation and other challenges.


One of the "not-to-be missed"events  of Bakery Fair 2023 is the "FCBAI Bakers Cup Wedding Cake Competition 2023" which shall showcase exciting and awesome wedding cake creations with " Kasalang Pinoy" theme where the major winner has the chance to win a prize worth P80,000 pesos. Winners will be announced on March 2 while the wedding cakes of the finalists shall be on exhibit throughout the event's run.


Another important event of Bakery Fair 2023 is "Angel Cup 2023" which highlights the making of Bread Showpiece, Artisan Bread, Healthy Bread and Sweet Dough with dough filling.


FCBAI is part of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., (FFCCCII) the umbrella business and civic organization of 170 Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and trade organizations from Aparri to Tawi-tawi.
