Mr. & Mrs. Cruz is the story of Raffy and Gela who went on a vacation to spend time in Palawan, but instead found themselves enjoying each others’ company. As they spend more time together, their unconventional love story begins and flourishes. But soon enough, trouble in paradise arises as their views in love, commitment and marriage clash. Will they see it through the end together?

What makes this movie so seamless is the spot-on performances of JC and Ryza and the film's remarkable screenplay with relatable story of what happens when love and life happens. A heartfelt romance film that good to watch with your significant other on a rainy night. I fell in love in Elnido, Palawan that was beautifully captured in this film. The chemistry between JC Santos and Ryza Cenon is apparent and both of them had very good performances. Director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo gives a solid attempt at a different take on classic romcoms. Mr. & Mrs. Cruz is not presented as a love story. It's a movie about two people both at the crossroads point in their lives seeking guidance. The bond the character's share helps them realize they have to face the future as they enter the next chapter of their lives.
