Movie Review: Transformers Age of Extinction

A mechanic (Mark Wahlberg) and his daughter (Nicola Peltz) make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons – and a paranoid government official (Kelsey Grammer) – on them. A semi-reboot of the series featuring a new human cast and both new and returning Transformers characters. Peter Cullen will once gain voice Optimus Prime.

The film is like a roller coaster of action, thrilling and suspense scenes. IMAX technology is so much utilize in the film. The movement of the camera is amazing its like you are flying together with the camera. There is also a lot of unique shots for the camera angle all through out the film. Cinematography is great in the film. Though the story development on the film is not that good and kinda shallow, they've been able to recovered in the special effects. So its a bit strange on how they come up with the transition of story and settings towards the end of the film. It doesn't sustain the feel of the movie. The film does not reach the depth and core of the story. This franchise lacks the entertainment, crisp and concrete story from the previous Transformers film. I hope Michael Bay can work on something better new and fresh take of Transformers in his next film. The only winning factor of the film is the visuals and the special effects that is one of a kind and extra ordinary.

My Verdict: 4/5
