Coming Soon: Past Tense - Kim Chui, Xian Lim and Aiai Delas Alas

The blockbuster loveteam Kim Chui and Xian Lim meets the Comedy Concert Queen Aiai Delas Alas in one film. After their first two successful movies together ("Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo" and "Bride For Rent"), the famous pair is set to star in a new romantic-comedy film titled "Past Tense" with actress-comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas.

In the movie, which was described as "first in the Philippines" at Thursday's story conference, Ai-Ai and Kim play mother and daughter who are competing against one another just to win Xian's heart.Mae Cruz, who helmed Lim and Chiu's recent blockbuster "Bride for Rent," will direct the movie.

The hunk actor told storycon attendees to expect a 360-degree twist that makes the movie even more exciting. The Primetime Princess, on the other hand, said everyone should also watch out for her love team partner's "new talent."

While the cast members did not divulge details of the story, delas Alas said it will feature "some sort of love triangle," presumably involving her, Lim, and Chiu. "Alam mo, I think, ito 'yung first in the Philippines na story, so kailangan niyo ito panoorin, kasi kakaiba talaga siya," delas Alas told reporters shortly after a story conference for the project.

Sabi ko, 'Ako lang ata ang comedy queen na iyak nang iyak,'" she said, laughing. "This is home. Parang, 'Wow! Ito na, may comedy film na ulit ako.' Ito na, excited na excited ako," the actress added. "Masaya at excited ako at alam naman natin na tested na ang samahan nung dalawa. Magandang combination," delas Alas said of her co-stars.

According to delas Alas, shooting for "Past Tense" will start in July. A premiere date has yet to be announced by Star Cinema.
