‘GMA Masterclass: Eleksyon 2025 Dapat Totoo Series’ Heads to the Visayas from February 17 to 20

 

GMA Regional TV and Synergy, in partnership with GMA Integrated News, further underscores the vital role of the youth towards a clean and honest 2025 Midterm Elections as it brings ‘GMA Masterclass: Eleksyon 2025 Dapat Totoo Series’ to the Visayas on February 17 to 20. 

‘GMA Masterclass: Eleksyon 2025 Dapat Totoo Series’ goes to the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City on February 17; University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City on February 18; University of San Carlos in Cebu City on February 19; and Silliman University in Dumaguete City on February 20. Each session begins at 8 a.m.

Bringing in relevant and valuable insights to the participants are seasoned broadcast journalists Susan Enriquez and Mariz Umali, GMA Sportscaster and Sports Analyst Martin Antonio, GMA Integrated News Social Media Manager Hannah Petrache, GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas Local News Correspondent Zen Quilantang-Sasa (February 17-18), and GMA Regional TV Digital News Managing Editor Joeberth M. Ocao (February 19-20).

Hosting the event is GMA Synergy sportscaster and “24 Oras” Game Changer segment host Martin Javier, while The Clash Season 4 Grand Champion Mariane Osabel will entertain the audience with her performance.

"The first leg of the ‘GMA Masterclass: Eleksyon 2025 Dapat Totoo Series’ in Mindanao last January aimed to inspire and empower the next generation of Mindanaoan voters through insightful discussions led by our experienced speakers. As we head to the Visayas this February 17 to 20, we look forward to continue with our objective to encourage the Visayan youth to be socially aware, responsive, and responsible citizens who will stand with us in championing the truth and combating misinformation and disinformation as we push our ‘Panata Kontra-Fake News’ campaign,” said Senior Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso.

The first leg of ‘GMA Masterclass: Eleksyon 2025 Dapat Totoo Series’ featured award-winning broadcast journalist Tina Panganiban-Perez, GMA News Online Managing Editor Lou Albano, GMA Integrated News Social Media Assistant Manager Theodore Ortiz, and GMA Sportscaster and Sports Analyst Martin Antonio. A total of 6,700 students and participants joined the event at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, General Santos City last January 22; Holy Cross of Davao College, Davao City last January 23; Liceo De Cagayan University, Cagayan de Oro City last  January 24; and Central Mindanao University, Bukidnon last January 25.
