MTRCB Rates “Captain America: Brave New World” and Other Films as PG – Fit for Family Viewing

The highly anticipated superhero film,“Captain America: Brave New World”, inspired by Marvel Comics and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, has received a PG (Parental Guidance) rating from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

Starring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, the film marks the 35th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

As with all PG-rated films, MTRCB Chairperson and CEO Lala Sotto-Antonio reminds parents and supervising adults that “viewers below 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for proper guidance.”

Also receiving a PG rating this week are:

“Ex Ex Lovers” – A romantic comedy marking the comeback of beloved former onscreen partners Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin.

“Paquil” – A moving tale of faith, cultural preservation, and redemption set in Pakil, Laguna, starring Beauty Gonzales and JM de Guzman.

“Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” – An adaptation of the bestselling novel by Helen Fielding.

“Buffalo Kids” – A Spanish animated adventure suitable for young viewers.

These films promise an exciting cinematic experience this Valentine's season, perfect for family bonding and meaningful discussions.

Sotto-Antonio encourages parents and guardians to practice responsible viewing, saying, “By guiding our children in their viewing choices, we can help them better understand the themes presented on screen while enjoying great stories together.”
